Dr Perry, UKSDC Founder, shortlisted for Arthur Award

Dr Randall Perry, founder of the UK Space Design Competition, and a Senior Research Investigator at Imperial College London, has been shortlisted along with three others for a Sir Arthur Clarke Award for Space Achievement in the category of Education and Outreach for his work on the competition.

Dr Perry said “I am delighted to have this nomination but it really belongs to the dozens of volunteers that put out some much of their time to make the UKSDC a success.”

The Sir Arthur Clarke Awards ‘The Arthurs’ are awarded by The Arthur C Clarke Foundation and the UK Space Agency, and are often regarded as the Space equivalent of the Oscars. The awards ceremony will take place during the UK Space Conference at The Glasgow Science Centre on the 16th July.
