UKSDC is delivered by volunteers, including former competitors, parents and people from industry and universities. You can help a company through the day, advise on technical work, judge proposals or support an event behind the scenes.
Ways
to help
- Company CEO Guide a student company through the schedule and help it organise its work.
- Technical adviser Answer questions within your area of experience.
- Client or judge Help set the challenge or assess proposals.
- Event support Help with administration, liaison or chaperoning.
Regional events usually run from about 8.30am to 8pm. The time needed for a role may include preparation. Contact us and we will explain the current opportunities and commitment before you sign up.
What volunteering involves
Volunteers follow SSEF’s safeguarding requirements.
SSEF’s Ambassador Programme is still under development, so it is not listed as a current route.
