Help more young people take part in space design.

Your support helps UKSDC bring students together to tackle an ambitious engineering challenge. You can support an event, provide a venue or contribute the expertise that makes the day work.

Why support
UKSDC?

Students in 2025/26
1,132

In 2025/26, 1,132 students took part across the UK. The competition gives them experience of working in large teams, making technical choices and presenting to industry judges. SSEF especially wants schools that have not entered before, including state schools, to feel able to take part.

Ways
to support

  • Sponsor the programme or an event.
  • Offer a venue for a heat.
  • Provide judges, advisers or volunteers.
  • Discuss a contribution towards participation costs.

Universities and other hosts also support events by providing facilities. We can discuss what would be useful and what recognition is appropriate for your organisation.
