Wizards, Egyptian mummies and talking robots – the only place you can find all three is, of course, Universal Studios. We spent twelve hours in the park, riding and re-riding rollercoasters and baking in the summer heat. A few, however, preferred to sit in the air conditioned restaurants and read their kindle. The rain prevented us from going on one of the rollercoasters, but this left ample time to eat in an American style diner and shop for movie memorabilia.

We were all exhausted when we returned to the hotel and luckily tomorrow we have a late start so we can catch up on much needed sleep before the competition begins!
